PALEMBANG – PT Haloni Jane Tbk (HALO) has successfully demonstrated its commitment to the independence of the national healthcare industry. This was proven through its significant participation in the Aspaki Expomed 2025 Exhibition. The event took place from July 2-4 at the Aryaduta Hotel in Palembang. For HALO, this event became a strategic platform to affirm its role in building a strong and self-reliant healthcare ecosystem.
The exhibition was officially opened by the Director-General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices of the Ministry of Health, Lucia Rizka Andalucia. Furthermore, this event represents a strategic collaboration between the Indonesian Medical Device Manufacturers Association (Aspaki) and the government. Specifically, this collaboration involved the Directorate of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Resilience of the Ministry of Health and the South Sumatra Provincial Health Office. Its main goal is to encourage the advancement and use of domestic healthcare products.
From the Land of Sriwijaya: Strengthening Local Economic Roots
The presence of HALO at Aspaki Expomed 2025 held special significance this time. South Sumatra is not just the exhibition’s location. Moreover, the province is the heart of the company’s supply chain. A majority of the high-quality latex raw material for HALO’s medical gloves comes from the hard work of local rubber farmers.
As a result, this business model creates a mutually beneficial synergy. Industrial growth can go hand-in-hand with improving the welfare of the farmer community.
HALO at Aspaki Expomed 2025: A Concrete Answer for National Self-Sufficiency
HALO’s participation, along with 63 other domestic medical device companies, is a concrete answer to the government’s call. Specifically, for the “Bangga Buatan Indonesia” (Proudly Made in Indonesia) program. This program has successfully increased state budget spending on local products from 18% to 45%. Of course, this achievement signifies great trust in the quality of national products.
During the exhibition, HALO was also active in forging strategic partnerships through business matching sessions. For example, direct interactions with health offices and dozens of hospitals showed high market enthusiasm for HALO’s products.
Market Enthusiasm and Sustainable Commitment
The positive response received during the exhibition has become a driving force for HALO. Therefore, the company will continue to innovate and increase production capacity to meet domestic needs.
Through its participation, HALO has proven itself as a key player in the medical device industry. However, its role extends beyond that. HALO has also become a strategic partner for the government in realizing national health resilience. Looking ahead, PT Haloni Jane Tbk is committed to continuing its support by participating in the next series of Aspaki Expomed events. Ultimately, HALO will continue to be at the forefront of building a strong and self-reliant healthcare ecosystem for Indonesia.
